Emergency engineering work impacts routes between London Waterloo and Guildford via Clandon
- Period: Saturday, December 21, 2024 to Tuesday, December 24, 2024
- Operators: South Western Railway
- Related Information: Emergency engineering work is taking place in the Clandon area, blocking all lines until Tuesday 24 December. A revised train service will be in place between London Waterloo and Effingham Junction, with some services diverting between London Waterloo and Guildford. Horsley, Clandon and London Road Guildford will not be served. Services may be subject to further alterations or cancellations. The following rail replacement transport has been organised to operate in both directions as follows: Surbiton to Guildford every 30 minutes, also stopping at: Effingham Junction, Cobham & Stoke D’Abernon, Oxshott, Claygate, Hinchley Wood. Effingham Junction to Guildford every 30 minutes, also stopping at: Horsley, Clandon and London Road. Guildford to Epsom every 60 minutes, also stopping at: Ashtead, Leatherhead, Bookham, Effingham Junction, Horsley, Clandon, London Road.

- Related Information: Most service will not run on Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day) or Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day). Service of Chiltern Railways, London Overground, Merseyrail, ScotRail, Southern and Stansted Express will only be unavailable on Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day), and a revised service will operate on Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day). No Caledonian Sleeper service on Tuesday 24 December (Christmas Eve). No service between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport from Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day) to Sunday 29 December. Services of East Midlands Railway, LNER, Avanti West Coast, Great Western Railway and Northern will start later than usual on Friday 27 December.
