Corso 281 Luxury Suites Rome

This luxury hotel met all my expectations staying here. The entire staff are so kind and will answer any questions you have. My room was spectacular and had everything I needed for my stay. I'll for sure come back and stay here in the future. ☺️

Great 10 night stay at Corso 281!! My family had a wonderful stay at Corso 281 in August 2024. The receptionists and staff were amazing, they attended to all our needs. We stayed in the Family suite, beautiful suite with 2 baths, Bulgari toiletries, complimentary breakfast with delicious pastries, juice, cappuccino/tea. Whenever we had to leave very early for a tour, the hotel would make take out breakfast boxes for us, that was really nice. The hotel gave me a wonderful surprise on my birthday, that was so thoughtful since I didn't tell them I would be celebrating my birthday during our trip, but when we checked in, they took note of it. I will definitely return here when I come back to Italy

We scheduled one 1 night at this place as a part of a two week trip to Italy on our way out of Rome. 4 days before leaving we had a family member need to me admitted to the IcU and were told we might not make it back in time to see them alive if we left immediately. I had actually just booked this room 2 days prior to receiving this info. Reached out to this hotel due to these special circumstances and they told me they didn’t care and couldn’t refund our stay. It is sad that they lack compassion. It cost our family over $1000 to make this change to get back and the other hotel we had started our stay at (Hilton Sorrento Palace) refunded us immediately for the remaining nights and organized a taxi for us at midnight to Napoli to help support us. Not to mention their staff were extremely compassionate. Would not stay at a hotel where people treat guests so poorly.

Absolutely fantastic hotel ideally situated within the heart of the city. We spent 2 nights over the May bank holiday weekend and although the hotel is small as most city hotels are, the quality of the rooms, cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff and amenities were second to none. The bathroom was spacious and had luxury toiletries from Bulgari too. What makes Corso 281 even better is the location with all the major attractions such as the Alter of the Fatherland, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps all within 10-20 mins walk away so no need for expensive taxis or public transport. We took a train to the Vatican City which required a walk to Barberini metro station which although was around 15 mins away we pleasantly stumbled across the Trevi fountain along our way. Breakfast is served in your room by ordering your choices the day before which was actually really handy as you can select your times and works with small children better. The only drawback was the usual hot breakfast items such as eggs were not included in the standard breakfast menu and required additional payment. I would also like to give a special mention to Mariam and Sara at the hotel reception who were amazing and always welcoming when we arrived and extremely helpful with our many questions. They always went above and beyond to help us find the best ways around Rome and were always available for a friendly chat. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel for couples and even young families like ourselves travelling with 2 kids!
