I am currently staying at this hotel for the next couple of weeks. This is my first time visiting Lagos/Ikeja, so I decided to stay at this hotel. Walking into the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is delightful. However, for the amount of US dollars spent on upgrading my room to a junior suite, it was not worth it. First, the room is outdated; the couch has many stains, and the window is cracked. And remember, I am on the 6th floor with a broken Window. The bed is super hard, and the bathtub paint is scratched and coming off. This was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel; I liked the bathtub. On top of the fact that there seem to be cracks and what I might think is mold in the corners of the walls and ceiling. The room has an expresso maker, but they don't provide the expresso cups. Unfortunately, I uunjustcheck out and got to another hotel because I would lose money. But I am very disappointed to have spent $5k on the type of room I have. Now my boyfriend and I have to put up with this room and stay for the next couple of weeks, and I am really upset. I hardly give reviews, but I wanted to provide some feedback. Also, I did not speak to management about these issues as I hate confrontation, and I highly doubt anything can be done or will be done, but I do regret spending as much money as I did for the caliber of the room I received.
