Overall a very great stay! Location is very close to 天安门 and 故宫, walkable distance to 前门. Rooms looked exactly as advertised, hotel staffs were attentive towards our needs from start to end. Also got a little sweet surprise on my birthday! 特别感谢礼宾部的刘志琦和杨䢀for helping us get our heavy luggages loaded in the car and also help guide the didi driver to our pick up location.

We as a family of four with two 7yo who visit China for the first time love this stay very much.
One thing we love is its proximity to main tourist sites like Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Temple of Heaven, etc.
The service is top-notched. Every staff member is friendly and would proactively offer assistance. The Meituan delivery lockers are in the secure place indoor. Love it.
The hotel is one of a kind, like a museum. Make sure you spend sometime tour around. Some of the art pieces are better than the ones in actual museum.

Grand Hotel Beijing offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. The facilities are top-notch, the location is unbeatable, and the staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. I stayed in a room that had a breathtaking view of the Forbidden City! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing. It is truly a home away from home.

Great place to stay and the hotel is very beautiful.
Walk distance to attraction and shopping mall behind the hotel.
Breakfast is good and you will sometime need to order from the
menu. congestion.
Only shortfall is the traffic to and from hotel due to traffic. So avoid the peak time 8 to 9.30am and 5 to 8pm.

Very classy hotel full of amazing art collections on display throughout. Great view of the Forbidden City and surrounding area on the top floor (by appointment). Walking distance to many attractions and eateries. Hail riding pickup right at the hotel front which is not the case for other hotels nearby.
Complimentary water bottles (lots) and mini bar filled with many type of refreshment. Fresh fruits as well as variety of teas and instance coffee.
Highly recommended.

Grand Hotel Beijing is centrally located, within walking distance from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National History Museum. The staff is generally very helpful. The breakfast is very good with plenty of choices of Chinese and Western food.

Location is great, close to major anchors in central Beijing, hotel is very clean, spacious and well designed, breakfasts are great. But I have to admit that the staff in the reception in some cases act like they have more important things to do than guests in front of them. They can ignore you, or start making calls of unclear nature or just walk away from you for a few minutes in the middle of conversation with you. It leaves a weird feeling that the hotel from the very entrance is showing you that you are not really important here, some other matters are.
