Sheraton Addis, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Addis Ababa

I had an amazing experience during my stay, from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff. Everyone was fantastic! Zelalem, who booked my reservation, was exceptional and very professional. As a Marriott Platinum member, I felt treated like royalty, especially with access to the lounge where I could relax and enjoy snacks while waiting for my room to be ready. The housekeeping staff was also outstanding. They often brought me fresh fruit each morning and regularly checked in to ensure I had everything I needed. The breakfast included in my rate was excellent, with a great variety of food options. The team was attentive and always available to take orders or check on me, making sure I had everything I wanted without hesitation. The security guards and elevator staff treated me with respect and made me feel valued throughout my stay. Whenever I visit Addis, Sheraton Addis is always my #1 choice. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10, especially for maintaining my loyalty points and rewarding me accordingly.

This is the best place to stay in Addis Ababa. Definitely a luxury place. It’s absolutely beautiful and its own wonderful compound that we loved our walk on the jogging track! Two women traveling in Ethiopia and we safely can walk on their jogging track! This was a plus for us. We checked in and the fabulous Selamawit checked us in. The room was very nice. Beds were very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The buffet breakfast was fantastic! My cappuccino was good. They had an egg bar so I had my eggs ordered to perfection. I loved how they had so much Ethiopian food Inc. in the buffet along with all other things. It was wonderful being able to try different cuisines of Ethiopia every morning. With a wonderful pastry And vegetable choice We stayed two nights at first, then we flew to Labelle to see the rock carved churches! I highly recommend you do this. It was amazing. We stayed at sorrows Lodge. It was fantastic with an amazing view there. We came back to the Sheridan for our last couple nights - Bethel checked us in and she was fantastic also. In fact, everyone here at this hotel was so kind, generous and helpful. Their English was very good. We never had a language barrier. The spa was fabulous very Etruscan with mosaics, etc. With a wet and dry sauna, and Jacuzzi that you can use for free as a hotel guest. I splurged and had the most amazing reflexology, body scrub, and deep tissue massage with the amazing Addis. She did such a fantastic job working out all of my kinks from all the trekking through the jungles and up volcanoes for the last 21 days. I highly recommend her and the spa. It was also a great price. They have a wonderful executive lounge and the happy food was amazing. Wondwosen and Sefiw were fantastic servers in the lounge so kind and at our service.

The breakfast provided as part of my reservation was top-notch, offering a diverse selection of delicious options. The attentive team was always on hand to cater to my needs and ensure I was well looked after. I was impressed by the respect and valued treatment I received from the security guards and elevator staff throughout my stay. Whenever I visit Addis, I always opt for Skylight Hotel, which I would confidently rate a perfect 10 out of 10 for maintaining my loyalty benefits and providing exceptional service.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property - the views from the room were incredible, and the staff was superb! Special thanks to Afework, Sileshi, Sefiw, and Betleham for the wonderful experience at the lounge, Samuel and Meron from 3rd floor housekeeping for making sure I had everything I needed throughout the stay, Jemal, Yoseph, Kelem, and Yared from the first floor for their excellent service, and Ruhama and Mahlet at the reception for a super smooth check-in and check-out experience! Thank you Sheraton Addis team for a truly phenomenal stay!

Mahlet Gezahegn, the front desk representative, deserves commendation from management. I forgot to request a rollaway bed, and although the situation was quite complicated, she went above and beyond to turn my stress into a happy smile. It's people like Mahlet who leave a lasting impression. I will share this story with numerous other travelers, as her exceptional assistance deserves to be rewarded and celebrated. Having stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties, her service stands out in my memory. I will always choose this hotel whenever I'm in Ethiopia. Thank you, Marriott, and thank you, Mahlet! This hotel is the nicest in the area and its a one-step shop and you will be happy to have stayed here. All of staff is amazing and have friendly smiles. But what Mahlet did stood out. And also, a young gentleman by the name King from the executive lounge - deserves to be commended too. You can tell he enjoys what he does and wants happy guest. So please acknowledge them both!!!

The hotel is beautiful, with perfectly manicured grounds, a large lobby, fountains, gardens, and a pool. However, the hotel is a special event factory. Business meetings and weddings are constant. The special events are given precedence and they close the pool and block access to the gym as necessary to facilitate banquets. After a long day of work, all I wanted to do was relax and go to sleep. However, I couldn’t work out or swim, or even sleep, because the noise from the music kept me up until 2:30am on a Sunday night. On the night I arrived from the airport, it took me an hour to access the hotel compound from the street because the parking lot had filled up with a wedding, and hotel security wouldn't admit any more cars - even for drop-off - until cars left. The on-site restaurants were good, but expensive. The breakfast was extensive, and the staff was very attentive to my needs and special requests

Had a great stay at the property . Some yummy cookies awaited me upon check in . The room service was quick and nice . Loved the breakfast options especially the live juice counters ! Got to meet Chef Mohan who invited me to the Indian restaurant ( which I couldn’t go ) . Loved the evening drinks service at the club lounge . Overall great stay
